RECALL of Progress Towards Rank badges IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL TIGER AND WOLF PARENTS:There has been an official RECALL of the Progress Toward Ranks white plastic
badges (NOT the beads) due to lead contamination in the paint. The badge has a yellow and blue border, includes a picture of a bear and wolf and reads "Progress Toward Ranks." Please take the badge off your child's uniform and give it to your Den Leader THIS WEEK so your Den Leader can submit the badges for exchange at the Pack Powwow on Friday, Oct. 12.
The Scout Shop does not have the replacements yet, but as soon as
the shop has them, you will receive it via your Den Leader. There is NO COST for this recall, just inconvenience. As we understand it, this recall only affects badges that may be worn by current Tiger and Wolf scouts.
