Winter Camping Registration Deadline Feb 4
Pack 731 Winter Camping is just around the corner and registration is even sooner. When you sign up for the B&G Banquet with your den leader, save yourself a second trip and bring in the Winter Camping registration form (and a check). For more information (including registration forms) on the Pack 731 winter camping trip, see
www.croftonpack731.org/learn.html and click on the Winter Camping link under Major Events.
Our winter camping trip is always rated as one of the most memorable cub scouting events, and this year we have archery (weather permitting)! Our Winter Camping planning committee is hard at work to make this the best year ever...
Wood burning stove-heated cabins. Outhouses. A hot shower only 5 brisk walking minutes away. Home-cooked meals. Scout skills. Campfire. Songs. Games. Marshmallows. Ghost stories. Skits. Hikes in the woods. Sun (if we're lucky). Snow (if we're luckier). Dirty socks. Muddy boots. It's great! $22/pp. Most of that money goes to pay for the food for the weekend.
Deadline for registration is February 4! Registration forms and all the details are online (see above). Email/call me or anyone on the committee if you have questions. I look forward to seeing you there.
Wear a hat.

Blue & Gold RSVP deadline Feb. 4th; Achievements due Jan. 31
Our Blue and Gold planning committee is working on an extraordinarily fun and rewarding Aloha evening for Pack 731 on February 10th at Crofton Elementary School. The Blue & Gold Banquest is the best opportunity to be recognized for your rank achievement at the Pack level, so get those activities completed by January 31 so you can earn your patch! (We will also recognize rank achievements in May). For more information on the B&G, see
www.croftonpack731.org/learn.html and click on the link for the Blue & Gold Banquet under Major Events.
Remember,
achievements must be submitted by January 31 to your den leader and thus to our Advancement Chair to be included in the Blue & Gold banquet program.
RSVP for the B&G to your den leader by February 4th.
Cost per family is a mere $5.00. BYO drink. Everything else, including pizza, cake, and entertainment is provided.
Surf's up! (Whoa! Watch out for that gnarly outsider.)
