Pack 731 Service Project - Nov. 10, 2007
A great way to demonstrate "The Cub Scout Gives Goodwill" is to cheerfully help others by participating in a Service Project. Since we are such a large Pack, we fortunate to have the use of Crofton Elementary School for our Pack Meetings, Pinewood Derby and Blue & Gold Dinner. Crofton Elementary School is looking for our help by performing a Fall and Spring outdoor cleanup service projects.
The first project will take place on Saturday November 10th from 7:00AM to 12:00N. This project is planned for the WEB I, WEB II and Wolf Dens, but Tigers and Bears are welcome to participate as well. Bring yourself, 1 or both parents, siblings, and rakes.

RECALL of Progress Towards Rank badges
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL TIGER AND WOLF PARENTS:
There has been an official RECALL of the Progress Toward Ranks white plastic
badges (NOT the beads) due to lead contamination in the paint. The badge has a yellow and blue border, includes a picture of a bear and wolf and reads "Progress Toward Ranks." Please take the badge off your child's uniform and give it to your Den Leader THIS WEEK so your Den Leader can submit the badges for exchange at the Pack Powwow
on Friday, Oct. 12.
The Scout Shop does not have the replacements yet, but as soon as
the shop has them, you will receive it via your Den Leader. There is NO COST for this recall, just inconvenience. As we understand it, this recall only affects badges that may be worn by current Tiger and Wolf scouts.
You can check the recall on
www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21139292.
Please contact advancements@croftonpack731.org if you have any questions.
Thank you
